The Transcendental State

The transcendental state is the fourth spiritual state or the stage which can be realized by transcending the Anahat chakra. The first three conscious levels are also equally important but this stage is most important as it is the door, the visa to your passport, for reaching the stage of Self-Realisation and the higher levels of consciousness. The stillness of mind is achieved when one transcends the fourth plane. This  is the first of the superconscious states which helps us reach the source of thought. The human mind has now been transcended to forever establish us into  the field of everlasting happiness. We are now into the process of establishing ourselves as God natured Divine beings and great admirers of beauty. The state of grace has now started showering abundance into our lives with our desires starting to get fulfilled automatically. The human senses have now dissolved and married spiritual aspirants have now started living their lives, thriving more on the love aspect than on the sex aspect. The title of Mr.Dipak Chopras book, Power, Freedom and Grace, is what this extraordinary field all about. Power, Freedom and Grace are those superhuman qualities one gets endowed with after establishing ourselves as residents of this superhuman and Universal field.

Every step of the journey of human life we undertake is an interview with God and this interview gets going not only in your spiritual life but in your material life as well. Spiritual success depends a lot on the type of human individual you are and more on whether you are deeply committed to your spiritual practices or not. The more complex type of individual you are the more challenging the spiritual journey will become and the more simple and innocent you are the more easier it will be to transcend the various spiritual planes. But as they say anything is possible for the Will of God and in my perspective the only quality that makes you excel in your spiritual quest is your thirst to realize God or the urge to reach the field of everlasting happiness or the passion you have to reach a state of    no-suffering or the enthusiasm you possess to have your soul nature, awareness awakened. Now let us look at some preliminary phases of spiritual growth before the dawn of the fourth plane.

In Zen, they have a term called Satori. A Satori is normally a sudden release to a great peak of mental tension or dilemma. Satori happens and takes place on the third spiritual plane. A Satori is a guarantee for transcending any of the spiritual planes starting from  the fourth. The more numbers of Satori you experience the more spiritual planes you transcend. In my perspective, the amount of spiritual planes you have  transcended depends upon the number of Satoris you have experienced. So in a way we can presume, at  least one Satori is needed to transcend each of the planes starting from the fourth. The final sign that you are to transcend the fourth plane is that you get occasional realizations that you can never uncover the unknown. In my case, I lost hope for more than half a dozen times that it was impossible for me to get Self-Realised. These realizations  directly help the mind to become still. So this is the criteria or realization to get you to a  place of complete mental stillness. So once you get to realize several times that the unknown can never be known, assume that you are at the verge of transcending the fourth spiritual plane.

The transcendental state is the stage when our normal human mind has been transcended. To transcend means to go beyond, so when the human mind gets transcended we reach the source of thought. When we reach the source of thought the mind comes to a resting place of stillness. When there is stillness of the mind there is tranquility, peace, serenity and mental harmony in our lives. So when the normal human mind is transcended, we reach the source of thought, our mind becomes still, we are established into a mental area of quiet and calm, which further implies that we are forever established into the field of everlasting happiness.

The dawn of the fourth spiritual plane signifies the dawn of the state of everlasting happiness. Till the present moment, we have been depending on the external medium, sources and environment to be happy, but now we would no longer have to depend on the external world to be happy. Now, there is no external  cause or reason to be happy but that we are all happy by ourselves without a cause or reason. This kind of happiness is of a permanent nature and does not recede till the moment we don’t shed our mortal bodies.

This is a state of no desires for sex. From this point onwards, spiritual aspirants would not need to depend on sensual gratification to become fulfilled, but God is the only source of fulfillment from now on and not transient and unreal things like sex and the physical body. Married spiritual aspirants now depend more on love exercise than on sensual sexercise. People, things and Mother Nature which signifies great beauty are the main sources of attraction rather than material and sensual pleasures. In other words, beauty which stands for great purity is the main attraction of this superhuman field.

The state of grace starts performing its miracle from this spiritual plane. You will get endowed with the power to manifest your desires from this stage. You will start having anything at your disposal by merely using the power to manifest your desires but you will be so desireless that you will start manifesting your desires to fulfill only minimum basic needs like food and clothing. You will start getting such a high without a single desire that even money, luxury and wealth will not affect you in the slightest manner.

Most of the meditators while away their entire spiritual careers by getting stuck in the first three conscious levels and since they never transcend the fourth plane their destiny to the state of Self-Realisation and the state of Enlightment is closed forever. In my perspective, the most important spiritual plane is the fourth one and transcending this plane is a guarantee to states of Eternal Bliss never even imagined of . In other words, the fourth spiritual plane is the threshold to the state of Self-Realisation, to the state of Godhood and to the Ultimate state of the most Supreme Self or to higher spiritual planes than this which we are destined to realize. The dawn of the fourth spiritual plane is a promise to those people who have that magic spark that they can  add to the growing flame of spiritual consciousness in the world and the entire Universe.
