A Life of Perfect Balance

The disciplines of all the spiritual movements in the world are for maintaining a balance in our lives and around it. In  fact, all the “Art of living” courses in the world are a means of teaching people how to adapt to the ever growing situations and circumstances in their lives. Since the ever fragile human mind cannot alone tame individual problems, the spiritual movements make use of a permanent tool, meditation, to tame the human mind, elevate the human soul to tackle all individual problems and therefore striking a perfect balance in the lives of human beings. The entire human race will live to see the day in our lives in the near future when the majority of the society in the world will be so handicapped and paralyzed by the onset of psychiatric disorders that the only means of salvation to the ever growing trend of the problem shall prove to be none other than the field of meditation. One Non-Being saint had professed long ago that the Non-Being movements are going to thrive because issues like polygamous relationships are on the rise and he has  got himself wrong. How can there be a rise in polygamous relationships when the majority of the World population in the near future caught up with psychiatric illnesses will be terrified by the very thought of the opposite gender, relationships and sex. The majority of the world population in the near future will be less sex maniacs and more with incapacities for a  libido because psychiatric disorders totally malfunction the nature of a sexually healthy human being.

Our life starts getting filled with a permanent nature of happiness once we are lucky enough to have transcended the Anahat chakra or the fourth spiritual centre. Before transcending the chakra our lives depended on the external means and medium to be happy. For example, we would never be happy without possessing a vehicle similar to the ones that our neighbours possessed, we would never learn to get elated unless and until our bank accounts met the multi-million dollar mark or we would never learn to keep  ourselves satisfied until the moment we got hold of a partner who had the libido to keep ourselves sexually satisfied ever after. The nature of happiness which depends on an external medium to be happy is the nature of the human mind and this kind of happiness is temporary. The nature of happiness  which does not depend on an external means to be happy but is extremely happy without a cause or reason is the happiness nature of a fully awake human soul and this kind of happiness has a permanent nature and does not wither  till the moment we don’t shed our mortal bodies.

The authentic nature of us ordinary mortals is  developed and awakened after we transcend the Anahat chakra. So the happiness nature is our real nature. Therefore once we get to realize that our real essence, the happiness nature has been awakened , we can then honestly confirm that our real human nature has finally been balanced. Living  a completely balanced human nature, the happiness-nature, is the first quantum leap in the spiritual life.

We have been emotionally carried away till date. There would have been needs to get carried away when your best friend snatched away your girlfriend, there would be needs of moments of great sorrow or tragedy when your most loyal companion, your hubby, passed away or there would be moments of extreme anxiousness when you lost your job and there would be cacophony of complaints and stamping feet from the young rebellious son who could not get a grand from his mom to take his girlfriend out for a date. On the happiness side, your heart would skip a beat at the graceful sight of your secretly admired lady in the locality, or there would be boisterous claims with your friends the moment you purchased yourself a BMW.

The next in line of spiritual success or a balanced life would be you no longer getting affected by the opposite polarities. You would start striking a perfect balance with the opposite polarities in your life with a spirit of great calm or poise. You will start being independent to the play of opposites and accept happiness and sadness, joy and sorrow, love and hate, tragedy and comedy in equal stride. Getting emotionally carried away will be bygones and a thing of the past. This phase is such a stage when human emotions shall come under control and you will start being the orchestrator who will not get carried away by the melodious tunes from the orchestra. Therefore, this is yet another phase of balance, a state of evenness and equanimity of your human emotions to help keep you balanced even in the most adverse and ecstatic situations.

The next stage of balance in your life would be the development of the around the clock awareness. The moment you become aware of the Infinite play of the entire manifested Cosmos in our lives would be the dawn of the moment when you become totally in unison with the laws laid down by God in our lives. This state of the egoless phase would be the start of a perfectly balanced spiritual life. So the next phase of balance would be when  your fully restored soul awareness strikes a perfectly balanced spiritually aware life.

The nature of the normal human mind is dual. Dualism is all about being a schizophrenic. In fact, we are all inborn schizophrenics. The only difference is that some are psychotically inclined schizophrenics and the most, sane schizophrenics. The  start of another state of balance is the transformation from a dual nature to the non-dual nature. Until now, the normal human mind was getting distracted by mild and the not so disturbing dual thoughts and the psychotic mind was getting driven to the states of insanity by torrents of very disturbing, psychotic and very dual thoughts. The next stage of transformation or balance is when one transcends the dualistic nature of the human brain to a non-dual nature. So now, both the sane and insane schizophrenics have equipped their brain with a  non-dual mode of functioning. It is at this stage, that we, all schizophrenics stop experiencing even a single disturbing thought. So in reality, the human soul which does all the thinking has transcended another phase when all the wild onrush and crazy torrents of thoughts have perfected a very balanced thinking state. So cultivating a pattern of perfectly balanced thoughts is another milestone in acquiring a series of perfectly balanced soul qualities.

Mr.Dipak Chopra teaches us that Enlightment is a phase when our bodily rhythms are in  synchronization with the rhythms of the Universe. We can therefore understand that when our bodily rhythms are in sync with that of the Cosmos, we have established ourselves in the Kingdom of God or that we have transformed ourselves into truly Enlightened beings. Therefore in the final stage, we have established ourselves as a completely balanced Divine being with a balanced brain, body and a fully awake soul. This is how we go on balancing the various aspect of our souls till we finally balance the body, mind and spirit, the three aspects of our Being to ultimately abide in the Kingdom of God forever.

A life of perfect balance is what we need to live a life of perfect harmony, good health and everlasting happiness and a life of equilibrium can only be achieved by exercising the powers of meditation and fully energizing our dormant human soul and restoring it with full awareness. Let us all strive to lead a life of perfect balance, for this is the only human objective God has designated for us human beings. Being Divine and not human beings, born in this age of Enlightment, only a dedicated spiritual effort from our sides can help us attain a state of perfect balance in our lives.
