The Laws of Life

The laws of life are spiritual laws realized during the meditative growth process. These laws help us to come in contact with Eternal truths  about the cause of things, the real nature of all particles, who we really are, who is responsible for all the events in our lives, the tender and gentle aspect of non-living things and the Unitarian Universal aspect of all living and non-living things on planet earth. Since the spiritual growth process restores our awareness to wholeness we immediately  get compatible with the laws we realize and then learn to apply it in our lives. The realization of the laws helps us to maneuver our lives with considerable ease therefore making us more than willing to adapt to the most of extreme and adverse situations. The realization of the laws converts an arrogant lion to a very tame lamb overnight.

“The laws  of life can teach us how to live in harmony with the world and with ourselves. When we know what the laws are and conduct ourselves accordingly, we live in lasting happiness, good health, and perfect harmony, with all life.”

                                                                                                   -Paramhansa Yogananda

The laws makes us harmonize ourselves with the people and situations around us. What happens when we are in harmony with the world around us? Naturally we are happy and at ease and our health improves because of the abundant happiness in our lives. Harmony is the word we can quote to express the overall condition in our lives when we get to realize the laws of life along our meditative growth process. We get to realize that for every effect there is a cause, the law of cause and effect. So what is the means to gather no more suffering in  our lives? It is to perform responsible and positive karma so that we reap similar fruits. We reap what we sow. So we should be responsible enough to sow actions that will reap good, positive and beneficial fruits or results. Furthur up the step we realize the Omnipresent spirit of God in every living particle on the planet. We realize that God is present in everything and is everywhere. In the transcendental state we realize that we are a ray of the all powerful God. So would we feel like taking to obscenity and profanity when we get to realize that we are a son of God? We aspire to stick to the path of virtuousness, righteousness and goodness when we realize this divine law. Sill further up the process, we are realized that it is none other than Brahman or the Divine Mother who is responsible for each and every event in our lives. We learn that the entire Cosmos or Universe is a leela or play of the Divine Mother. We are not the doer neither the roles we play. Every thought, word or deed is an act of God. God is thinking for us, speaking for us and doing for us and we are merely instruments in the hands of God. Even the negative aspect of our lives is the Infinite Will of the Infinite Being. When we are  Self-Realised we are in a state of  no-resistance and no longer interfere with the Will of the Cosmos. We submit wholeheartedly to the Will of God and we are in a state of total  and absolute surrender. In the first stage of the higher levels of consciousness we realize the gentle aspect of the non-living things. We learn to  tread on the earth gently and we learn to be extremely patient. For example, if you graze past a wooden chair you would feel like seeking forgiveness of the chair for being ungentlemanly to it. In the Absolute stage you realize  and see the reflection of your spirit in every living and non-living things on the planet. You are then one with the Absolute. If you are still lucky enough you further realize that everybody is a concentration of one United Universal Spirit.

Now if you say what would happen if one cannot shed the dualistic nature and is not united with the Unitarian Universal aspect we can say that particular human being will continue spinning in the vicious circle of suffering, the wheel of birth and death and will have to wait for another opportunity, a next life in which he may be able to evolve consciously to reach the state of Enlightment. We will have a very tough and hard life to tackle if we don’t get ourselves acquainted with the laws of life through the spiritual growth process. Merely reading and coming to know about the laws will not prove to be effective as we don’t yet have our soul awareness awakened. Look at the countless so called religious people who make an effort to surrender to man-made Gods, falter and stumble upon great suffering in their lives. It is for us to evaluate and realize what is mandatory to contain human suffering and transcend human suffering so that we have the rest of our lives to live in the most Eternal Bliss. Just imagine what it would feel like being in the blissful state of someone like Sri Krishna, Rama or Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The blissful state that we reach through the process of Enlightment can be imagined to be of that same blissful state of a Sri Krishna, Rama or Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

We are here to reach that everlasting source which we have been born to achieve. Let us not brush aside the chance of being spiritually evolved beings on the pretext that we are not made up for it and there is no way for sub-standard human beings like us to realize God. We all are pure consciousness or God and everything is possible for the Will of the most Supreme Godhead. The most sinful of human beings can turn into a saint overnight because of the power of meditation and the Grace of God. Why need we suffer from countless lives and get entangled in the cycle of birth and death when we have this present life, this golden opportunity to be free from human bondage and suffering once and for all. The door to the Kingdom of Heaven is open for any willing human being to tap on it and enter it forever. We are that portion of the intelligence that has created the entire manifested Universe. We are tiny spots, minute concentrations and part of the Infinite and gigantic Universal Self. Our physical and mental being is filled to the brim of pure consciousness or God right at the present moment even though we may not yet be fully awake. The  only thing needed to be done of significant value is tap onto our vast spiritual reserve of pure consciousness through the spiritual growth process and abide in God forever. We may not be knowing that great miracles are possible in this spiritual age from Gods side to help uplift our spiritual nature and get totally unburdened from the vast load of human suffering.

Great spiritual opportunities are knocking on all of your doors right now. In my perspective, I feel we need not wait for opportunities but seek and create opportunities by ourselves, tap onto our vast spiritual reserve, be spiritually evolved and get ourselves relieved from countless human suffering forever.
